Adwords Campaign Settings Successful Strategy
Use these settings for any campaign you create:
- Language. Choose the language of the country of advertising and your ad texts, there is no point in choosing another language.
- Networks. Create separate campaigns for Google Search and Display Network, they require different strategies and approaches. Always give Google Search Partners a try, if they do not perform well, turn them off.
- Bidding. Always choose Manual CPC and setup bids yourself depending on your budget and perfomance. But give other bid strategies a try, if they do not perform well, turn them off.
- Delivery Method. Always choose “Accelerated: Show ads as quickly as possible” option, it will ensure that your ads is shown every time a keyword matches a search term in Google.
- Ad extensions. Always use all possible ad extensions, as it will increase your CTR.
- Ad rotation. Always choose “Rotate indefinitely: Show lower performing ads more evenly with higher performing ads, and do not optimize”. Do not allow Google decide which ads are performing better, than the other. If you want the best ROI, you should check statistics yourself only and use the best converting ads, not the ads with the best CTR and the best performance in Google’s opinion.

Keywords Quality Score Successful Strategy
Keep a quality score for every single keyword more or at least equal to 6/10. If a keyword has a quality score lower than 6/10, you will have to pay a higher price for every click than your competitors for the same position. It’s so because ad position is determined by Google based on the following calculation:
Ad position = Quality Score (CTR) x Bid
If an ad has a high quality score, the position of that ad will be higher and you will pay less money for that. Moreover, there is a 95% probability that you will not be able to get the top 3 position for any particular keyword if your quality score is lower than 7/10, no matter how high your bid is. The factor which influences a quality score the most is CTR, that’s why CTR is so important!
